Varanasi, Nov. 3 -- A three-day public viewing of the sacred relics of Lord Buddha began today, marking the 94th anniversary of the Mulagandha Kuti Vihara in Sarnath, in the holy city of Kashi, drawing hundreds of monks, devotees, and pilgrims from across India and neighbouring countries.

Sarnath is the sacred land where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon, 'Pravartana of the Dharmachakra'. The event is being organised in collaboration with the Mahabodhi Society of India Sarnath Center and the Vietnamese Buddhist Association.
