Chandigarh, March 18 -- Jagdish Singh Jhinda, the President of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC), has alleged a life-threatening attack on him in Patiala, Punjab, pointing fingers at the committee's former chief, Baljit Singh Daduwal.

According to Jhinda, the incident occurred when his vehicle was intercepted while returning from a religious ceremony in Shergarh village. Jhinda claimed that Daduwal personally brandished a pistol and incited his followers to open fire, forcing Jhinda's driver to maneuver the vehicle away at high speed to ensure their safety.
