Shimla, April 3 -- The Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) has recorded a significant rise in its performance, with its annual turnover crossing Rs 100 crore.

Disclosing this here on Friday, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) Chairman Raghuvir Singh Bali said during a press conference that the government's focus is not only on the present but also on long-term development so that tourism can further strengthen the state's economy in the coming years.

He said that when he took charge of the tourism corporation, the turnover was around Rs 80 crore, which has now increased to about Rs 100-110 crore.
