Shimla, Aug. 6 -- Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi on Thursday reviewed the progress of the Asian Development Bank (ADB)-funded HPSHIVA project being implemented in Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Mandi, Kangra, Solan, Sirmaur and Una districts, and directed officials to expedite work while taking strict action against delays.

Chairing a review meeting, the Minister said that against the Phase-I target of developing 3,000 hectares, around 2,612 hectares have already been developed. Plantation has been completed over 1,543 hectares, while plantation on nearly 1,000 hectares is planned during the ongoing monsoon season.
