Dharamshala, July 28 -- The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced significant changes to the question paper pattern for the Class 10 and Class 12 annual board examinations to be held in March 2027, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and PARAKH (Performance Assessment, Review and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Development).
HPBOSE Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma said the revised examination pattern aims to create a more balanced, transparent and student-centric assessment system that evaluates not only memorisation but also conceptual understanding, analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
