Solan, Jan. 21 -- In a move to deepen patriotic consciousness among students, the Himachal Pradesh government has decided to redesign the middle school history curriculum with a sharper focus on India's freedom movement and the contributions of earlier generations.
From the 2027-28 academic session, students of Classes VI to VIII would study National History alongside Himachal Pradesh's cultural heritage, ancient temples, forts, and landmark movements such as the Prajamandal and Pajouta movements.
