Shimla, March 28 -- Himachal Pradesh has reported 585 cases of bank and digital fraud in the past three years, resulting in financial losses of over Rs around Rs 150 crore, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu informed the state Assembly.

Replying to a query raised by BJP member ID Lakhanpal, the Chief Minister said the government is strengthening its response mechanism by deploying AI-based tools and specialised cyber experts in cyber cells to enhance investigation capabilities. He emphasised that cases of bank fraud are being investigated on priority to ensure prompt action against offenders.
