Dharamshala, July 28 -- The Himachal Pradesh Government has transferred the administration and implementation of the Chief Minister Sahara Yojana from the Health and Family Welfare Department to the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, with eligible beneficiaries continuing to receive financial assistance of Rs 3,000 per month directly into their bank accounts.
District Welfare Officer, Kangra, Sahil Mandla, said the scheme is aimed at providing monthly financial support to eligible patients suffering from life-threatening and chronic illnesses that often result in permanent disability.
