Shimla, July 1 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Wednesday expressed grief over the demise of former Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Raja Vijyendra Singh, who passed away in Delhi earlier in the day.

In his condolence message, the Chief Minister said Raja Vijyendra Singh had made significant contributions to the development of the state, particularly the Nalagarh Assembly constituency in Solan district. He said the former minister's services towards public welfare would be remembered for a long time.

Sukhu prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family, wishing them strength to bear the irreparable loss.
