Dharamshala, April 21 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for the construction of electrical division and sub-division office buildings, along with augmentation of a 33 KV sub-station at Jawalamukhi in Kangra district.
The projects, estimated at around Rs 4 crore, are expected to benefit over 35,000 consumers, including various categories and Jal Shakti schemes.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister also announced the setting up of an additional electrical sub-division at Dehriyan in Jawalamukhi, with a provision of Rs 10 crore.
He said the initiative would help reduce voltage fluctuations and ensure reliable 24x7 power supply in the area.
