Nahan, May 13 -- Volunteers from the Chureshwar Seva Samiti are working day and night, braving the bitter cold and heavy snowfall, to restore the drinking water supply at Churdhar, a famous religious site in Himachal Pradesh, which has been disrupted for the past six months.
At many locations on the peak, water pipes are buried under a layer of snow three to seven feet thick. Removing them and restarting the water supply is no less than a major challenge. However, despite the severe challenges posed by nature, the volunteers of the Chureshwar Seva Samiti have put in their best efforts.
