Shimla, Oct. 26 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today lauded the Public Works Department (PWD) for achieving a major milestone by integrating 100 of its offices onto the e-Office platform, aligning with the State Government's digital governance reforms.
The Chief Minister praised the department's officers and employees for completing the digital transition within the stipulated timeline.
He announced that file movement from the Engineer-in-Chief (ENC) to the Secretary, the PWD Minister, and up to his office is now entirely processed through e-Office. This shift has replaced physical correspondence with official emails, effectively eliminating delays in internal communication.
