HP: One proclaimed offender held by police in Hamirpur

Hamirpur (HP), June 9 -- The PO Cell Hamirpur continues its sustained efforts to trace and apprehend proclaimed offenders absconding from judicial proceedings.

In continuation of this drive, PO Cell Hamirpur has successfully apprehended proclaimed offender Pankaj, resident of VPO Ghumarli, Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur, aged 37 years.

The accused was declared a Proclaimed Offender by the Court of JMFC Barsar on 20.12.2025 in a case under Section 138 of the NI Act of Police Station Barsar. He was arrested by PO Cell Hamirpur on the evening of 08.06.2026 from Salauni.
