Nahan, May 17 -- An estimated 67.39 per cent out of a total of 19,876 electorates exercised their franchise in the elections held for the Nahan Municipal Council today.

District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur Priyanka Verma informed that 67.39 per cent voter turnout was recorded in the Nahan Municipal Council polls. She informed that out of a total of 19,876 voters in the Nahan Municipal Council, 13,394 voters cast their votes.

Similarly, in the urban body elections held today in Sirmaur district, an estimated 67.24 per cent voter turnout was recorded.

Ms Verma informed that 65.87 per cent voting has taken place in Paonta Sahib Nagar Parishad, where out of a total of 18,248 voters, 12,020 people exercised their franchis...
