Nahan, Sept. 9 -- Villagers from Matar Panchayat in the Nahan Assembly constituency, who have been grappling with road problems for a long time, visited the Deputy Commissioner's office in Nahan to address their concerns.
The villagers stated that the poor condition of the road is causing inconvenience to residents, making it difficult for them to commute and adversely affecting their economic well-being.
Speaking to the media, villagers said that the "road constructed for the Matar Panchayat has been cut haphazardly, leading to frequent landslides and the risk of accidents." They reported that the road is often blocked for traffic during the rainy season, causing difficulties for schoolchildren, employees, and the public.
