Kangra, Aug. 1 -- A fresh twist has emerged in the investigation into the suspicious death of a married woman from Kholi village near Kangra, as hundreds of local residents reached the Kangra police station in support of her in-laws and demanded an impartial investigation.
The villagers gathered on Friday after police registered a case against five members of the woman's in-law family, including her husband, based on a complaint lodged by her parental family, and took them into custody.
Expressing solidarity with the accused, the villagers claimed that those detained were innocent and urged the police not to reach any conclusion until the investigation was completed. They said the case should be examined from every angle to ensure justice...
