Bilaspur, May 25 -- A special HPV vaccination camp was organized today under the HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) vaccination campaign through the Health and Family Welfare Department in District Bilaspur, in which 41 daughters were successfully vaccinated across the district, Deputy Commissioner Bilaspur Rahul Kumar said.
He said that under the next phase of the campaign, this special HPV vaccination camp will be organized in 30 identified health institutions across the district on May 31, so that the eligible girls who are left out can also get the benefit of vaccination.
He said that in Bilaspur district, HPV vaccination is being given to girls who have completed 14 years and are below 15 years of age to prevent cervical cancer.
