Shimla, March 26 -- The higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh received fresh snowfall, while minimum temperatures continued to hover below normal in several parts of the state, even as the plains recorded relatively warmer conditions, the Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.
Gondla in Lahaul-Spiti recorded one cm of fresh snowfall during the past 24 hours, indicating continued cold conditions in the tribal belt. The weather remained partly cloudy to overcast across the state, under the influence of an active western disturbance. No major rainfall activity was reported, though light precipitation occurred at isolated places.
