Shimla, May 4 -- Four people were killed and one sustained serious injuries in a road accident in Himachal Pradesh's Sirmaur district on Monday morning, police said.
The mishap occurred on the Gattadhar road near Haripur Dhar when a car reportedly went out of control at a sharp bend and plunged 200 meters off the road.
Four people including three women died on the spot.
Local residents, along with police teams, rushed to the accident site and carried out rescue operations.
