Ashok RainaPalampur, Aug. 24 -- A fodder tree plantation programme was organised under the All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Goat Improvement (Gaddi Field Unit) at CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV), Palampur, with the aim of strengthening fodder resources for Gaddi goats and promoting sustainable livestock production.
As part of the initiative, 20 fodder trees were planted at the university's Livestock Farm Complex to enhance the availability of nutritious green fodder and ensure long-term nutritional security for the Gaddi goat breed maintained under the project.
