Solan, May 17 -- Following alleged assult on jail warder at Kishanpura sub-jail under Nalagarh in the district, the police at Manpura Police Station today registered a case against five inmates under various sections of the BNS.
According to the complaint, Rohit Kumar, son of Hansraj, resident of village Thachi, District Mandi, posted as a jail warder at Sub-Jail Kishanpura, was on watch duty when he was allegedly assaulted by inmates.
In this incident, inmates Suryatej, son of Ishwar, Deepak, son of Dilbag, Sunil, son of Surendra, Gurcharan, son of Kamal, and Gagan, son of Vinod, suddenly attacked him. In the attack, Rohit Kumar suffered head and back injuries.
