Bilaspur, April 29 -- With the State Election Commission announcing the elections for Panchayati Raj institutions in the state, the election process has started in district Bilaspur also.
District Election Officer (Panchayat) and Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar said that the elections for Panchayati Raj institutions in the district will be held in three phases on 26, 28 and 30 May and the nomination process will start from 7 May.
He said that with the announcement of the election schedule of Panchayati Raj institutions, the Model Code of Conduct has also been implemented in the district.
