Ashok RainaDharamshala, July 9 -- Himachal Pradesh Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister Prof. Chandra Kumar on Thursday said the ultra-modern milk processing plant being built at Dhagwar in Kangra district will play a key role in increasing farmers' income and strengthening the rural economy.
Chairing a review meeting on the project's progress, the Minister directed officials to complete water, power and civil infrastructure on priority to ensure the plant is commissioned by November 2026.
He also ordered a scientific assessment of the plant's water and electricity requirements and instructed that groundwater availability be surveyed with the help of the Central Ground Water Board.
