Dharamshala, June 9 -- In a major crackdown on drug trafficking under the Himachal Pradesh Government's "Nasha Mukt Himachal Abhiyan", Dehra Police arrested a 23-year-old youth and seized 279 grams of charas from his possession on Sunday.
Dhera district superintendent of police Mayank Chaudhary told UNI that a team from Dehra Police Station intercepted a suspect during routine patrolling and checking at the Talai Kuru area on the basis of suspicion.
SP Mayank said that during a search conducted in accordance with legal procedures, 279 grams of charas were recovered from his possession.
