Ashok RainaDharamshala, Sept. 6 -- Deputy Chief Whip and Shahpur MLA Kewal Singh Pathania on Saturday directed officials to complete all arrangements for the annual Dal Lake Fair by September 15, ahead of its inauguration with a grand Maha Aarti on September 16.
Chairing a meeting with district officials at the Mini Secretariat here, Pathania reviewed arrangements related to security, traffic management, drinking water, sanitation, health services, electricity, parking, fire safety and disaster management.
He said the fair holds deep religious and cultural significance for the region and stressed that the convenience and safety of pilgrims and tourists must remain the top priority.
