Palampur, May 15 -- BJP State Vice President and former minister Vipin Singh Parmar accused the Congress-led Palampur Municipal Corporation of corruption, administrative failure and misleading the public ahead of the civic polls.
Addressing the media in Palampur, Parmar alleged that a machine worth Rs 20 lakh was sold as scrap for just Rs 50,000, while a Rs 127-crore sewerage project and houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana remain incomplete.
He also claimed that illegal building approvals, land scams and irregularities in tender allotments had tarnished the image of the civic body.
