Hamirpur, May 20 -- All preparations are being finalised for the three-phase voting on May 26, 28, and 30 for 1,998 posts, including 484 posts of Pradhan and Up-Pradhan of 242 Gram Panchayats, 1,376 Panchayat members, 119 BDC members, and 19 Zila Parishad members across Hamirpur district.
Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer (Panchayat) Gandharva Rathore said on Wednesday that in the Panchayati Raj Institution elections, a total of 363,699 voters in the district will decide the fate of 4,849 candidates for various posts.
These voters include 1,83,851 women and 1,79,846 men. The names of two third-gender voters are also listed.
