Sana'a, Sept. 23 -- Yemen's Houthi rebels on Wednesday claimed that their forces had shot down a Chinese-made Wing Loong II armed reconnaissance drone allegedly operated by Saudi Arabia while it was carrying out what the group described as "hostile missions" over Mocha in Taiz Governorate.
Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said the unmanned aerial vehicle was brought down using "appropriate weaponry", as tensions continue to rise amid repeated military exchanges involving the Houthis and Saudi Arabia.
