Hyderabad, May 28 -- Telangana Government-owned Housing Board land near the proposed 'Future City' project in Raviryal, Maheshwaram mandal of Ranga Reddy district, witnessed record demand during an e-auction conducted on Thursday, with land fetching a high price of Rs 83,500 per square yard.

Housing Board Vice Chairman V.P. Gautham said the auction covered four land parcels ranging from 1,000 to 13,500 square yards and generated nearly Rs 140 crore in revenue.

According to officials, around 17 organisations participated in the bidding process for the prime plots located near the airport and at the entrance of the proposed Future City. A 1,113-square-yard plot, which had a base price of Rs 26,000 per square yard, was finally sold for Rs 83...
