Pune, June 18 -- The two Manache Ashwa (honoured horses) accompanying the palki procession of Santshreshth Dnyaneshwar Maharaj bowed before the Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Mandir in the city. An 'Aarti' was performed amidst many devotees and dignitaries.

The horses belong to Shrimant Shitole Sarkar from Ankali (Karnataka). They trot all the way from Ankali to Alandi to take part in the annual Ashadhi Wari pilgrimage. They have an honoured place in the Santshreshth Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi procession.

The Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi procession will start from temple town Alandi to Pandharpur tomorrow.
