Chennai, June 16 -- The Madras High Court on Tuesday reserved its orders on a petition seeking a CBI probe into the charges of horse trading in connection with the quitting of four Rebel MLAs, who had supported the confidence vote of the TVK government in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, and subsequently switching over to the ruling TVK.

The resignation of four rebel MLAs--Ms Maragatham Kumaravel (Madurantakam-SC constituency), S Jayakumar (Perundurai), P Sathyabama (Dharapuram-SC) and Esakki Subbaiya (Ambasamudram) resigned as MLAs and switched over to the TVK--were accepted by Speaker and their seats were later notified as vacant and the Election Commission of India will soon hold the bye-elections to these seats, along with two other seats--Tir...
