Tehran, March 23 -- : Iran on Sunday said the full restoration of security and lasting stability in the Strait of Hormuz depends on ending military aggression and threats by the United States and Israel, even as it maintained that the strategic waterway remains open to navigation under certain conditions.
In a detailed statement, Iran's Foreign Ministry outlined its position on maritime safety, saying the Islamic Republic remains committed to the principles of the UN Charter, including freedom of navigation and maritime security across key regional waterways such as the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman.
