New Delhi, May 16 -- Hockey India has removed support staff member Sudhir Golla from the ongoing Under-18 national coaching camp following allegations of misconduct and negligence of duty after complaints were reportedly filed by trainees at the Centre of Excellence in Morabadi, Ranchi.
According to reports, several trainees submitted complaints to the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs in Jharkhand, alleging inappropriate behaviour and negligence during Golla's tenure at the state-run training academy.
Following a preliminary assessment, state authorities initiated an inquiry and relieved him of responsibilities at the Ranchi facility earlier this week. A replacement was subsequently appointed at the centre.
