Shimla, June 5 -- Himachal Pradesh will celebrate World Environment Day on June 5 with a series of awareness and outreach programmes, including a mini marathon, plantation drives, exhibitions and environmental awards, aimed at promoting environmental protection and sustainable development across the state.
The celebrations are being organized jointly by the Department of Environment, Science, Technology and Climate Change, Himachal Pradesh Police, State Pollution Control Board and the State Council for Science, Technology and Environment.
