Shimla, March 2 -- Revenue and Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi on Monday chaired a high-level meeting with senior officers from various departments to deliberate on framing a clear and balanced policy regarding encroachment on forest land, in accordance with the directions of the Supreme Court of India.
The meeting focused on evolving a structured framework that ensures compliance with judicial directives while addressing ground realities in the state.
