Shimla, July 10 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Friday directed the Health Department to upgrade all government medical colleges in the state with modern medical equipment by the end of this year to strengthen healthcare services and improve patient care.
Chairing a review meeting of the Health Department here, the Chief Minister said the state government had filled thousands of vacancies in the department to overcome staff shortages and was introducing advanced healthcare technologies on the lines of AIIMS, New Delhi. He assured full government support for the effective delivery of quality health services.
