Shimla, Sept. 22 -- BJP Rajya Sabha member Harsh Mahajan on Tuesday said the Chamba-Kilad road connecting the remote tribal areas of Churah, Pangi and Kilad in Chamba district has been accorded the status of a strategic road project of national importance by the Defence Ministry.
Mahajan said the decision followed his sustained efforts and advocacy for strengthening road connectivity in the Aspirational District of Chamba and would provide a major impetus to connectivity in the difficult and strategically important areas.
