Shimla, July 28 -- Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, celebrated its 167th Founder's Day on Tuesday with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu as the chief guest, featuring traditional ceremonies, a cyber safety memorial lecture and the flagging off of the school's annual mountaineering expedition.
The celebrations commenced with the Chief Minister laying a wreath at the bust of the school's founder, Bishop George Edward Lynch Cotton, followed by the hoisting of the school flag.
He was introduced to members of the School Board, faculty and student prefects before participating in the traditional Founder's Day service at the Holy Trinity Chapel.
