Dharamshala (Kangra), Nov. 2 -- Young cricketer Anirudh Sharma, hailing from Naleti village in Dehra tehsil of Kangra district, has brought laurels to Himachal Pradesh with his selection for the inaugural International Test Twenty Championship, scheduled to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from November 14 to 29.
Anirudh played a key role in helping the Delhi Under-17 team clinch the gold medal in a national cricket championship held in Maharashtra, featuring teams from 24 states.
In the final played on November 1, Delhi defeated Rajasthan by 41 runs to emerge champions. Anirudh contributed significantly to the team's victory through his batting and wicketkeeping performances.
