Shimla, July 11 -- In a landmark step towards simplifying land-related procedures and enhancing transparency, the Himachal Pradesh government has launched an Online Land Registry System integrated with simultaneous mutation of ownership.
Citizens can now process land registrations from any location at the click of a button, significantly reducing the burden on revenue courts and offices.
This digital innovation is set to eliminate the delays traditionally associated with land transactions, where parties had to physically appear multiple times at sub-tehsil or tehsil offices for registry and subsequent mutation.
