Dharamshala, March 4 -- The annual board examinations conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education commenced across the state on Tuesday at 2,384 examination centres, with Class 10 students appearing for English and Class 12 students for Sanskrit in the first session.
The examinations were held peacefully amid elaborate arrangements to maintain transparency and curb unfair practices. A state-of-the-art control room has been set up at the Board's headquarters in Dharamshala, enabling live monitoring of examination centres across all districts through CCTV cameras.
