Dharamshala, July 31 -- Himachal Pradesh Information and Public Relations Department Joint Director Ajay Parashar retired on Friday after rendering nearly 29 years of distinguished service in the department.
A farewell function was organised in his honour at the District Public Relations Office in Dharamshala. His wife, Dr Madhavi Parashar, and son, Armitesh Parashar, were present on the occasion. Officers and staff members extended their best wishes for his healthy and fulfilling retired life.
Parashar joined the department as an Information Officer in 1997 and served as District Public Relations Officer in Lahaul and Spiti, Kangra, Sirmaur, Hamirpur, Chamba and Una during his career. He was promoted as Deputy Director in 2013.
