Shimla, Aug. 26 -- In a significant order, the Himachal Pradesh High Court has directed that the construction of a six-floor hospitality unit in Barog, which has already raised pillars for further construction, should not be permitted to add any additional floors without the necessary permission.
The division bench of Chief Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia and Justice Satyen Vaidya passed the order on August 22, 2025, while hearing a batch of Public Interest Litigations (PILs) concerning unauthorized constructions in the ecologically sensitive area.
