Shimla, April 10 -- The Himachal Pradesh High Court on Friday dismissed an application filed by Rajya Sabha Member Abhishek Manu Singhvi seeking to exclude a large number of witnesses and testimonies from consideration in his election petition against BJP MP Harsh Mahajan.
The petition pertains to the recent Rajya Sabha election from Himachal Pradesh, where Mahajan was declared elected following a draw of lots after a tie.
Singhvi has challenged the procedure adopted by the Returning Officer in declaring the result.
