Shimla, Dec. 30 -- : Himachal Pradesh High Court has dismissed a writ petition filed by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, seeking to be impleaded as a party in arbitration proceedings pending between the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) and Supreme Infrastructure India Limited.

A single bench of Justice Ajay Mohan Goel on December 29 passed a 63-page order dismissing the petition filed by the IIT Mandi to allow it to be a party in the arbitration case pending before the arbitrator.

The arbitral proceedings are being conducted by former Supreme Court judge Madan B. Lokur as the sole arbitrator.
