Shimla, Sept. 26 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Saturday announced the removal of the mandatory one-day MGNREGA work condition for availing benefits under the 'Mukhya Mantri Ka Apna Parivar Sukhi Parivar Yojana' and raised the family income limit under the scheme from Rs 50,000 to Rs 75,000.Addressing a large public meeting at Kansa Chowk in Balh Assembly constituency of Mandi district, the Chief Minister said the changes had been made to facilitate more eligible families to avail the benefits of the welfare scheme.
He also announced that all eligible women above the age of 21 would be provided a monthly pension of Rs 1,500.
