Shimla, Sept. 6 -- Himachal Pradesh Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh on Sunday said the state government was committed to ensuring that welfare schemes reached every eligible beneficiary, particularly families in rural and economically vulnerable sections.
Addressing a special dialogue and awareness programme on the 'Mukhyamantri Apna Parivar Sukhi Parivar Yojana' at Dudhalthi under Shimla Rural Assembly constituency, Singh said the scheme would be formally launched on October 2.
He said around 782 families from Tutu development block had been identified under the scheme and the current phase of applications would remain open till September 20.
