Shimla, June 16 -- : Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta on Tuesday expressed concern over the growing menace of drug abuse among youth.
He called for a united societal response, saying that only coordinated efforts by families, educational institutions, religious organisations, communities and government agencies can help achieve the goal of a drug-free Himachal Pradesh and India.
Addressing a gathering after inaugurating the newly constructed Main Darbar Sahib at Shri Sarv Dharma Peeth Taposthan, Gurdwara Shri Nanak Jyot Sahib at Fatehpur in Kangra district, the Governor urged young people to engage in seva and community activities that provide positive guidance and keep them away from harmful influences.
