Shimla, Feb. 26 -- Naresh Chauhan, Himachal Pradesh Principal Advisor (Media) to the Chief Minister, has lambasted the recent police action by the Delhi Police in the state, alleging that established legal procedures and inter-state protocols were not followed.

In an interaction with the media on Thursday, Chauhan described the episode as a "serious issue" rather than a political drama.

He said the manner in which Delhi Police entered Himachal Pradesh to detain three individuals should have been strictly in accordance with the law and established norms governing inter-state operations.
