Shimla, June 9 -- Himachal Pradesh is set to collaborate with Norway in advanced waste management technologies, circular economy initiatives, and sustainable development practices, with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inviting Norwegian companies to invest in the state's tourism, green energy, and geothermal sectors.

The proposed cooperation was discussed during a meeting between Chief Minister Sukhu and Norway's Ambassador to India, May-Elin Stener, in Shimla on Tuesday.

The two sides deliberated on solid waste management and Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste management, areas in which Norway has developed significant expertise.
